This a Vintage Oil filter Canister for Chevy Inline 6 Cyl. It came off a 1949 chevy with a 216ci. and worked perfect. Will fit 216ci , 235ci. Will fit most older 6 cyl. engines. I stripped off all the old paint and re tapped threads the cover is painter chevy orange and the canister is painted royal blue. Those are the stock colors for this type of filter. The cover seal has no cracks or tears. I will send the lines but you will need new ones. The stock stickers are sold on ebay and are very cheap they also have oil filter elements ,if you are restoring your older chevy with the inline 6 this is a must. These came as a factory option in 40's and 50's. I also have a diagram of correct plumbing for this filter. This canister is a S-6. Dont chance of having dirt and metal shavings kill your engine.
