Custom Built Coffin Car Rat Rod. Here's your chance to own something that turns heads and to be the most popular house in the neighborhood at Halloween. This hot rod started out as a 1973 Volkswagen beetle and ended up as a custom Halloween Hauntmobile. Made with a real wooden coffin and bolted to a VW frame, it drives like a rocket as it has very little weight so the powerful VW engine pushes it like crazy. Starts right up and with sidepipes on the side, you can hear it coming blocks away. Good rubber on the tires, working lights and it is registered as a parade car so you can drive it for functions and events. It is a money generator as well as stores like Spirit Halloween shops pay per day to have it sit in front of their stores and it is a film car also, so motion picture and TV productions companies rent it for filming for several hundred per day. Coffin lid hinges up to have access to linkage and pedals. The wood needs some refinishing but everything else is great. Runs well and gave it a $1000.00 engine reconditioning and tune up about a year ago. We have had it for several years and have had a blast with it and now its time for someone else to have some fun with it. Our kids are very popular at school around Halloween and you can make it a lot of fun in your neighborhood. We've reduced the price to $3,000.00 obo. You know you want it.
